Access Artstor: Anywhere, Anytime
Users can create a registered user account when accessing Artstor from a valid IP address (either on campus or through a proxy server). Each registered user account allows for a 120-day Remote Access Period during which it may be used to access Atstor from any computer. Each time a user logs in to his or her account from an authenticated IP address, the 120-day period is reset.
Artstor is accessible to registered users on the iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch. The mobile site allows registered users to search, browse, and view previously created image groups. Artstor Mobile also provides a Flashcard View.
Access by Proxy
When a user logs in via proxy, a proxy server acts as an intermediary between the user and the electronic resources available at a particular institution, appearing as if the user is working on campus. Proxy server access is typically granted through an institution's library website.

Offline Image Viewer (OIV)
Each installation of the OIV must be authenticated the first time the program is opened, as well as every 120 days thereafter. Authentication only affects Artstor content, and you can continue to use OIV with local content without authentication; as soon as you re-authenticate the software, Artstor content will become available again.
