The Egyptologist Arielle Kozloff Brodkey has contributed nearly 2,500 images from her personal photographic archive to the Artstor Digital Library. The scholar/photographer is the former curator of ancient art at the Cleveland Museum of Art. Her archive features the art, architecture and archaeology of ancient Egypt, with special emphasis on Theban tombs.

The archive is especially noteworthy because it visually documents many monuments described (but not illustrated) in Porter and Moss’s standard Topographical Bibliography of Ancient Egyptian Hieroglyphic Texts, Reliefs and Paintings. Artstor’s version of this archive offers invaluable visual support to this standard reference work.
