Tom Muir has contributed approximately 60 images of his jewelry and metalwork designs to the Artstor Digital Library.

Tom Muir is a metalsmith and jeweler whose award-winning work has been published and exhibited extensively in more than 400 national and international art, craft, and design exhibitions. Since 1991, Muir has been a faculty member at Bowling Green State University, where he is Distinguished Professor of the Arts and serves as the Head of the Jewelry and Metalsmithing Department in the School of Art. His work is included in a number of public collections, including the Art Institute of Chicago, the White House Collection of American Crafts, the Renwick Gallery of the National Museum of American Art (Smithsonian Institution), and the National Air and Space Museum. In 2009, Muir received the Outstanding Achievement Award from the Ohio Designer Craftsmen for having made a major contribution to craft in Ohio.
