Myka Carroll

Director of Library Relations, ARTstor Digital Library

Myka Carroll is the Director of Library Relations for ARTstor, primarily responsible for our relationships and communications with regional marketing agents and prospective participating institutions and consortia beyond the United States, as well as research and special projects.

Before joining ARTstor, Carroll was Collection Development Associate in Publisher Relations at JSTOR, securing partnerships with academic publishers and scholarly societies and researching new content areas in the arts and humanities. Prior to JSTOR, she gained marketing, project management, and content licensing experience at John Wiley & Sons, Harcourt Brace, and the San Diego Opera. She is also an editor and writer, publishing in venues ranging from Against the Grain to the ...For Dummies series.

Carroll received her MS in Information and Library Science with Distinction from the Pratt Institute, where she conducted special projects in instructional outreach and library management at NYPL's Humanities and Social Sciences Library and the American Library in Paris, respectively. As an undergraduate, she studied Intellectual History at Vanderbilt University and the University of Leeds (UK).
