Jennifer Hammer
Library Relations Outreach Associate
Jennifer Hammer is a Library Relations Outreach Associate for ARTstor. In this capacity, Jennifer works primarily with non-participating institutions (focusing on K-12 schools, museums, and community colleges) educating the community about ARTstor, and guiding institutions through the participation process.
Jennifer holds a BA in Anthropology and Japanese from the University of Minnesota, and is currently pursuing a MA in the History of the Decorative Arts and Design at Parsons the New School of Design. Her interest in material objects of different cultures led Jennifer to spend extended periods abroad in Asia and Europe. Before joining ARTstor, Jennifer also interned at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts in the education department, where she assisted in curating an exhibition of Inuit art, as well as worked in the various types of pedagogic programming the museum offers. Jennifer also enjoys exploring material culture through her own creative handiwork.
