Library Relations Associate, Shared Shelf
Jen Hoyer is a Library Relations Associate – Shared Shelf. She works with the Shared Shelf Library Relations team to cultivate relationships and increase awareness of Shared Shelf within the higher education community.
Prior to joining Artstor, Jen was the Music Director at Keiskamma Music Academy in South Africa, where she managed budgets and marketing programs, and planned and executed major events and performances. She was also responsible for planning and overseeing the classical music education program and taught more than 60 underprivileged children in the rural community. Since relocating to New York, Jen has become involved with the Interference Archive as a librarian, providing reference assistance to patrons and documenting policies and procedures for a new CollectiveAccess CMS and new collection accession processes.
Jen has a MLIS from McGill University and a Bachelor of Music from The King's University College in Edmonton, Alberta, where she focused on recorder and piano performance. She has received numerous awards and scholarships and has been involved in many publications and presentations.
