Director of Account Management, North America
As Director of Account Management, North America, Colleen Hunter initiates and oversees strategies to expand Shared Shelf subscriptions. Colleen is responsible for gathering and analyzing market data, reviewing pricing strategies, working closely with academic and cultural institutions to facilitate uptake of Shared Shelf, and informing individual institutions and the broader community about the service's aims, development, and features.
Prior to joining Artstor, Colleen worked for three years at Elsevier as an Account Development Manager and Product Specialist. At Elsevier, she developed and executed regional marketing plans, implemented customer development and outreach strategies to promote growth and usage of Elsevier's journals and databases, created and implemented customer loyalty and user awareness programs, developed usage strategies, and gathered and evaluated competitive information in light of Elsevier's strategic plans. Colleen has a certificate in fundraising from New York University, an MBA from Medaille College in Buffalo, and a BA from DePaul.
