Parastou Marashi

User Experience Designer

As a User Experience Designer, Parastou works at the intersection of design, technology, communication, and education to ensure the usability of digital experiences on the web, mobile, and emerging platforms.

Prior to ARTstor, Parastou was an interaction designer at R/GA where she designed online applications and tools for corporate clients. Parastou has exhibited paintings, sculptures, and digital art in New York City, was a resident digital artist/fellow at the SSBx/MIT Media Lab Fablab in the Bronx, and has taught and guest lectured on videoblogging, digital storytelling, and interaction design in the US and abroad.

Parastou holds a B.S. in Architecture from the Ohio State University, and an M.P.S. from New York University’s Interactive Telecommunications Program (Tisch School of the Arts).
