Rebecca Shows

Implementation Manager

Rebecca Shows is an Implementation Manager for ARTstor. Drawing from previous experience supporting outreach for both the Digital Library and Shared Shelf software service, she works directly with institutional contacts to deliver all aspects of strategic services related to ARTstor's Shared Shelf media management software.

Prior to joining ARTstor, Rebecca administered acquisitions at the library of Sarah Lawrence College. In this role, she collaborated with technical services, systems and reference librarians to support the migration and adoption processes for an open source ILS system and participated actively on the collection development committee. She also previously managed circulation at a branch of the Madison Public Library in Madison, Wisconsin. She holds a Master of Information Science, concentrating in Information Systems, from the University of North Texas and currently serves as Chair-Elect of the ASIS&T Special Interest Group for Digital Libraries and Vice Chair of the ASIS&T Metro New York Chapter.
