Shalimar Fojas White
Public Services Librarian
Shalimar Abigail Fojas White is a Public Services Librarian for ARTstor. In this role, Shalimar provides front line support to institutions who have site licensed ARTstor. Prior to joining ARTstor, Shalimar held various positions in New York art galleries and an international auction house. While at these institutions, she was responsible for an in-house photographic archive and a private art research library. Shalimar has also pursued her academic interests in Medieval and Renaissance Art and History, which focus on illuminated manuscripts, by serving as a research assistant on several scholarly projects.
Shalimar is a graduate of Pratt Institute, where she earned an M.S. in Library and Information Science. She also holds an M.A. in the History of Art from the Institute of Fine Arts and a B.A. in History from Harvard University.
