Recorded sessions

ARTstor offers recorded training sessions. These sessions are available to all ARTstor users at any time of day. Learn more about registering and accessing the recorded sessions on the online training page.

Live sessions

A person or group at a participating institution can be trained remotely by ARTstor staff. All that is required at the trainee site is an internet connection and a telephone. Online training sessions are offered on four topics: Introduction to ARTstor, Registered Users, Instructor Features, and Offline Image Viewer.

Training is scheduled every week, and a calendar of upcoming sessions can be viewed on our online training page. Any ARTstor user can register to attend a session but attendance for each session is limited to five participants. We recommend that you register for sessions at least one day in advance.

For institutional groups of six or more participants, online sessions can be conducted by appointment and are offered free of charge. We will work with you to create single or multiple customized sessions for your institution. To schedule a group session, email userservices@artstor.org.

On-site training sessions

ARTstor User Services may visit your campus to provide intensive train-the-trainer sessions for library staff as well as demonstrations for faculty and graduate students. Training is offered free of charge. We will work with the local ARTstor administrator to create a customized training schedule for your institution. A minimum of thirty attendees or representatives from at least four different institutions is required to set up an on-site session. We recommend that you schedule onsite training at least six weeks in advance. To schedule a visit, please email userservices@artstor.org.

Please review the various training options that we offer in the User Support Models Summary.
