Egyptian art from Arielle Kozloff Brodkey’s personal archive
ARTstor has digitized and is pleased to announce the availability of Arielle Kozloff Brodkey’s personal archive. This collection includes over 2,400 images from Arielle Kozloff Brodkey, former curator of ancient art at the Cleveland Museum of Art. The archive is focused on the art, architecture and archaeology of ancient Egypt, with special strengths in Theban tombs. The archive is especially noteworthy because it documents visually so many monuments described (but not illustrated) in Porter and Moss’s “Topographical Bibliography of Ancient Egyptian Hieroglyphic Texts, Reliefs and Paintings”. ARTstor’s version of this archive will serve as an invaluable adjunct to the use of this standard reference work
