Additional images from the Carnegie Institution of Washington Photographs of Mayan Excavations (Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology, Harvard University)
ARTstor, in collaboration with the Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology at Harvard University, has added approximately 1,500 more images to the Carnegie Institution of Washington Photographs of Mayan Excavations (Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology, Harvard University) collection in the Digital Library. This brings the collection total to more than 37,000 images available in the Digital Library. This collection, will eventually contain nearly 55,000 images, including images from the photographic archives of the Carnegie Institution of Washington, which document archaeological excavations throughout Central America, as well as images of Pre–Columbian, African, Native North American, and Oceanic objects from the Peabody Museum’s permanent collections.
