More than 9,234 additional images from Larry Qualls’ archive of contemporary art are now available in the Artstor Digital Library. Arttor is digitizing more than 100,000 images from Qualls’ archive, documenting three decades of contemporary art exhibitions at galleries and other exhibition spaces throughout New York City and elsewhere.

The archive is being scanned and made available systematically, beginning with more recent gallery shows. The collection most recently made available in the Digital Library includes images of works of art shown during gallery seasons in 1988, 1990-1992, Spring and Fall 2003, and Spring and Winter 2004. The most current release brings the total number of available Qualls images to more than 56,400. Subsequent releases in Artstor will be made available as they are cataloged by Qualls.
