Artstor has released nearly 1,000 images of contemporary art from Albright College’s Freedman Gallery in the Digital Library. The collection in Artstor consists of paintings, sculptures, photographs, prints and other works on paper, primarily by contemporary artists such as Romare Bearden, Salvador Dalí, Leonid Sokov, Brett Weston, and Mark Klett.

Established in 1976, the Freedman Gallery is a nationally recognized gallery dedicated to contemporary art. Named after co-founder Doris Chanin Freedman (1928-1981), a trustee and alumna of Albright College, the Freedman Gallery is housed in the College’s Center for the Arts. Founded in 1856, Albright College is a nationally ranked, private liberal arts college in Reading, Pennsylvania.
