ARTstor President James Shulman and ARTstor team members will present updates, platform features, and new developments in the Digital Library and Shared Shelf at the University of Maryland on November 27 and at Georgia State University on November 28. Both events will also feature presentations by special guests, as well as local peers and colleagues discussing how they’re using ARTstor’s tools in their daily work. A light breakfast and lunch will be served.

  • The event at University of Maryland, College Park, hosted by Michelle Smith Collaboratory for Visual Culture, Department of Art History and Archaeology, includes a special presentation about the challenges and opportunities of analytics from Brian Alpert, Web Analytics & SEM Analyst at the Smithsonian Institution.   • The event at Georgia State University Library includes a special presentation about AP arts programs by Wendy Free, Director of Advanced Placement Arts Programs at The College Board. Shared Shelf is ARTstor’s Web-based image management software service that provides support for managing and actively using images — cataloging, editing, storing, and sharing them. Shared Shelf also enables seamless integration of image collections with the ARTstor Digital Library.
