A tip before finals: Study with Artstor’s Flashcard feature

Printing flashcards to help you study for your Art History finals? Use Artstor Mobile instead!

It’s easy: Simply visit the Artstor Digital Library on your mobile device, open an image group, and then tap on the Flashcard button on the upper right.

Tap within an image to turn the image over to reveal the caption information; tap again within the box to restore the image. And you can sort the images randomly by tapping the Shuffle button in the upper left.

For the beginner and expert alike, ARTstor’s online help, training, and support services are an excellent way to learn how to incorporate the Digital Library into your study and teaching. Online Help
Users can access online help from anywhere in the ARTstor Digital Library — a Help link is located in the top right corner of every page. Or, go directly to the ARTstor Help wiki by directing your browser to help.artstor.org. The site is keyword searchable and contains step-by-step instructions for ARTstor and OIV functions, as well as troubleshooting tips and training information. Don’t forget to bookmark these useful pages for future reference!

Online Training
The ARTstor online training schedule is now posted on the ARTstor Help wiki. ARTstor User Services staff provide regularly scheduled online training sessions: Introduction to ARTstor; Presenting with ARTstor; and Tools for Teaching. These 30- to 90-minute sessions are offered free of charge to both domestic and international ARTstor users using GoToWebinar or Voice over IP (VoIP).

Help Wiki

You can access ARTstor’s online help from any page of the Digital Library — a persistent Help link is provided in the top right corner of every page. This will take you to the ARTstor Help Wiki, which is also available at help.artstor.org. The Wiki is keyword searchable and contains step-by-step instructions for ARTstor and OIV functions as well as troubleshooting tips and training information. You can also bookmark useful pages for future reference.
