Online support for the Digital Library
ARTstor offers a number of online support and training options for individuals and for groups interested in learning more about using the ARTstor Digital Library.
You can access ARTstor’s online help from any page of the digital Library – a persistent Help link is provided in the top right corner of every page. This will take you to the ARTstor Help Wiki, which is also available at help.artstor.org. The Wiki is keyword searchable and contains step-by-step instruction for ARTstor and OIV functions as well as troubleshooting tips and training information. You can also bookmark useful pages for future reference.
The spring 2009 ARTstor online training schedule is now posted in the Help Wiki. ARTstor User Services staff provide regularly scheduled online training sessions for three topics: Introduction to ARTstor; Presenting with ARTstor; or Teaching with ARTstor. These hour-long sessions are held using GoToWebinar and are offered free of charge to all ARTstor users. New this semester, ARTstor User Services is also offering webinars to our international ARTstor users using GoToWebinar and Skype Voice over IP.
To view the upcoming schedule and to register for domestic or international sessions, see the online schedule. If you wish to schedule training for a group, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
ARTstor in 3 Minutes instructional video demonstrations are also available on the Wiki. The video series offers quick, three-minute or less overviews of ARTstor features such as: how to register for an account, how to download images to PowerPoint, and how to make image groups. The video series is also available on YouTube and TeacherTube (search for ‘ARTstor’).
